What you will be working on
The Service & Learning Excellence Department (SLD) is committed to driving service excellence to enhance productivity and service innovation in CPF Board. SLD plays an instrumental role in designing effective service strategies and initiatives (includes people, systems, technology, processes initiatives), strengthening the knowledge and service capability of the service work force, with the purpose to enhance the CPFB's overall customer experience and internal service culture in an Easy, Effective, Empathetic and Empowering manner.
You will be joining the Service Strategy, Analytics and Resource Management team who drives data-driven and AI-enabled service excellence through actionable insights and a strong data ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and enhance a full stack web application using Next.js and Python.
- Integrate web applications with a database such as PostgreSQL.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and user journey analysis to understand different user types and workflows.
- Work closely with the product owners on the product development and vision.
- Explore how GenAI can be used to optimise existing workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable code following team standards and participate in code reviews.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Has experience with full stack web development, particularly Next.js and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiar with JavaScript, HTML, React concepts, and REST APIs.
- Experience with TypeScript and SQL/NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Interested in GenAI applications and workflow optimisation.
- Understanding of stakeholder management and product development processes.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
- Interested in developing problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Approaches problems with a flexible mindset and adjusts when project needs change.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from November 2025 to April 2026.
