What will you be working on

The Frontier Products Team is a modern, innovative team focused on developing software products that aim to enhance operational efficiency across CPF Board and the broader Government ecosystem. We operate entirely on cloud infrastructure using cloud-native technologies. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic team and contribute to our transformation initiatives that elevate CPF Board's digital capabilities and drive technological advancement.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute your tech skills to one of our many products and initiatives that aim to make CPF Board and whole of government work better.
  • Explore the relatively new field of GenAI and how it can be applied, both in our products and to improve the way we work.
  • Work in a cross disciplinary team with UIUX designers and Product Managers.
  • Gain hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.

What are we looking for

We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Has some experience in building apps.
  • Prior experience with Python and JavaScript is useful but not necessary.
  • Cloud experience would be useful but not necessary.
  • Interested in developing problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Hunger to learn and embrace new technologies.
  • Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.

Position is on a full-time internship basis from October 2025 to June 2025.
