What will you be working on

The Data Science Accelerator Department (DSA) drives the pervasive use of data across CPF Board to aid policy and operational decision making by providing a consolidated view of good quality data, effective governance, strong data science capabilities and modern data infrastructure and tools. 
 
In this role, you will: 

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand challenges and designing data-driven and business-centric solutions. 
  • Assist in data collection, preparation, processing and exploration tasks 
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance and/or enhancement of various AI solutions including Knowledge Graph, Generative AI, and Machine Learning 
  • Conduct research and identifying emerging trends and opportunities in Graph Analytics and Generative AI 
  • Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Provide support for data-related activities. 

What are we looking for

We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields 
  • Proficiency in Graph Analytics and Generative AI is highly preferred 
  • Good understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning concepts 
  • Familiar with analytics tools such as Python/R 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges  

Position is on a full-time internship basis from Jan - Jun / May - Aug / Aug - Dec
