What will you be working on

The Frontier Products Team is a modern team focused on developing software products that aim to make CPF Board and Government as a whole work better. We work entirely on the cloud using cloud-native technologies. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic and fun-loving team and contribute to our efforts to make CPF Board more like a tech company.

In this role, you will: 

  • Contribute your tech skills to one of our many products and initiatives that aim to make CPF Board and whole of government work better. 
  • Explore the relatively new field of GenAI and how it can be applied, both in our products and to improve the way we work. 
  • Work in a cross disciplinary team with UIUX designers and Product Managers. 
  • Gain hands-on experience with AWS or Azure. 

What are we looking for

We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team. 

  • Some experience in building apps
  • Prior experience with Python and JavaScript is useful but not necessary
  • Cloud experience would be useful but not necessary
  • Ability to switch modes between working independently and as a team
  • Hunger to learn

Position is on a full-time internship basis from May - Aug 2025.
