What you will be working on
The Media and Publicity Department (MPD) strengthens CPFB's reputation, sustain Singaporean's trust in CPFB schemes and systems, and influence behavioural change in members. Inform, educate, and help Singaporeans understand the benefits and options they have with CPF through campaigns and mainstream, social and digital media so that they can make the best use of their savings to build a strong foundation for their retirement. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public sector communications, with a focus on developing skills in media relations, strategic planning, and project management. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will help develop and implement media strategies aimed at raising awareness, understanding, and appreciation for CPF schemes and policies by engaging key media partners. Additionally, you will monitor and analyse media coverage as well as public sentiment to identify potential public relations issues, and provide support for relevant communications efforts.
In this role, you will:
- Support media monitoring by issuing a daily summary of CPF-related news and updating relevant information for analysis.
- Assist in day-to-day media requests, and onsite media management for events.
- Develop compelling story angles for media pitches.
- Assist with the scheduling of media cultivation sessions.
- Conduct media research to inform and enhance communication strategies.
- Support the team with other ad-hoc tasks as required.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing. Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
- Has strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Has a creative mindset with a talent for generating innovative ideas.
- Keen interest in emerging media trends and enthusiasm to explore new communication platforms.
- Keeps work organised and pays attention to detail.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to August 2026.
