What you will be working on
The Business Incubator and Accelerator (BIA) Office is a key player in supporting the generation of innovative product concepts and business strategies through proficient cross-functional teams. The Products and Innovation Team, part of BIA, drives knowledge diffusion and builds a culture of innovation across CPF Board (CPFB) through a suite of programmes and initiatives, while also managing in-house digital products with a strong focus on technology adoption, data-driven decision-making, and a product mindset.
In this role, you will:
- Design in-house digital products with a cross-functional team

- Develop prototypes (low fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups) with consideration for technical constraints and implementation feasibility.
- Articulate design decisions to development teams and other stakeholders.
- Work in a cross disciplinary team with developers and product managers to turn designs into working products.

- Contribute to our design system for a consistent user experience across products

- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of BIA’s design system documentation and style guides.
- Develop product branding for new products if required.

- Understand user behaviour and make data-driven design decisions to refine solutions.

- Engage a variety of stakeholders – from internal staff to ordinary citizens – to discover product insights.
- Assist in tracking and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, to validate and make design decisions.
- Participate in technical design reviews and provide inputs on frontend implementation approaches when required.

We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Has experience with Figma.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS) and use of UI Libraries is a plus.
- Experience with design-to-developer handoff processes and developer collaboration tools (e.g. Figma Dev Mode) is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong empathy for users.
- Comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and provide actionable insights to improve digital products.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and concisely, and building relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to May 2026.
