What you will be working on

The Data Science Accelerator Department (DSA) drives the pervasive use of data across CPF Board to aid policy and operational decision making by providing a consolidated view of good quality data, effective governance, strong data science capabilities and modern data infrastructure and tools. Data informs many of the decisions we make in CPFB, and to perform our roles well, CPFB has embarked on a journey to become Data-Smart. In support of that, you will be part of a team that champions data visualisations and builds data science capabilities to help the Board extract value from data for effective business decisions and policy-making.

In this role, you will:

  • Assisting in project management, development and testing activities and supporting the business users in exploring and testing the functionalities of CPFB's cloud based data analytics platform and other on premise systems. This includes assisting in the conversion of SAS Reports and Tableau Dashboard to Pyspark and PowerBI, and the training of users on PowerBI.
  • Work with Data Engineers for operations and support of our data platforms. This includes assisting in creation of information dashboards for system access reviews and service requests; logistics support in the allocation of software licenses and IT equipment; the redesign and automation (e.g., UIPath) of workflows; and the use of generative AI to improve engineering processes and support.
  • Assist in the training of users on system functionalities and the preparation of user guides or system administration guides for system implementation.

What are we looking for

We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiar with Python, SQL, and visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Approaches problems with a flexible mindset and adjusts when project needs change.
  • Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
  • Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.

Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to June 2026.
