What you will be working on
The Business Incubator and Accelerator Team propels the development of new product ideas and business models by small competent cross-functional teams. We drive CPFB's innovation framework, including supporting the idea-to-solution journey, enhancing knowledge diffusion and evangelising technology adoption. This includes cultivating a culture of curiosity and proactive involvement among staff through a range of initiatives centred on innovation.
As a GenAI Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic team and contribute meaningfully to cutting-edge automation and AI initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Design and build agentic workflows that seamlessly connect internal tools with third-party platforms such as Slack, external APIs, and more.
- Integrate Generative AI capabilities including prompt engineering, LLM-based decisioning, and text summarisation to make workflows more intelligent and adaptive.
- Implement logic, data transformations, and reasoning flows to automate complex business processes with conditions, triggers, and AI-powered decision-making.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to understand their goals and translate them into scalable, reliable automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure smooth execution through scheduling, retries, and robust error handling to maintain reliability and performance.
- Think creatively about the role of automation and AI in eliminating repetitive tasks, improving efficiency, and enhancing user experience.
- Experiment with agentic systems by exploring how AI agents can interact with APIs, take actions autonomously, and orchestrate multi-step workflows.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
- Understands software development concepts or has experience with any programming or scripting language.
- Interested in Intelligent Process Automation and eager to learn how to build solutions using agentic automation platforms.
- Open to learning all stages of software development, from planning to deployment.
- Pays attention to details and interested in developing problem-solving skills.
- Approaches problems with a flexible mindset and adjusts when project needs change.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to June 2026.
