What you will be working on
The Network & Endpoint Services Department (NED) oversees the network operations of CPF Board, ensuring the seamless functioning and network management. The team proactively identifies and mitigates any potential threats, ensuring uninterrupted network services. NED comprises four main sub-departments: Network Engineering, focusing on network management and connectivity; EDR, specialising in email phishing and network security monitoring; Endpoint Engineering, handling endpoint software management and support; and IDAM, responsible for tasks such as account creation and password vault management.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate in the development and delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions with a focus on integrating new applications to the IAM platform.
- Liaise with IT Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to gather user requirements and understand business needs.
- Gain hands-on knowledge on integrating with various application systems using API connectors – AD LDAP, REST, SOAP, Webservices, and custom build.
- Gain experience building new plugins to customise the IAM platform for specific use cases.
- Foster innovation within CPF Board by researching and experimenting with the latest advancements in Identity Security domain.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in software programming languages such as Java, Bean shell, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, PowerShell, UNIX, LINUX, SQL, and XML.
- Basic proficiency working with AD LDAP, REST API, SOAP, Webservices and custom connectors.
- Application software development knowledge preferably on IAM Solutions, working with developing workflows, connectors, config events, scheduled tasks.
- Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum practices would be advantageous.
- Shows genuine curiosity in applying and expanding software development skills, particularly within low-code/no-code environments.
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and the ability to learn independently.
- Able to explain technical ideas in a simple way.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to June 2026.
