What you will be working on
The Business Incubator and Accelerator Department (BIA) propels the development of new product ideas and business models through small competent cross-functional teams. We drive CPFB's innovation framework by supporting the idea-to-solution journey, enhancing knowledge diffusion and evangelising technology adoption across the organisation. The Products and Innovation Team within BIA cultivates a culture of curiosity and proactive involvement among staff through a comprehensive suite of programmes and initiatives, whilst managing in-house digital products with a strong focus on technology adoption, data-driven decision-making, and a product mindset.
In this role, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience in product management and support the delivery of in-house digital products by prioritising and managing incoming requests from various departments, coordinating product backlogs, feature releases, and stakeholder communications.
- Document business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks whilst tracking progress and ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
- Support product marketing and adoption efforts by preparing promotional materials, conducting product demos, and showcasing features to potential users.
- Gather user feedback from outreach efforts and translate insights into product enhancements or feature proposals.
- Apply technical skills to analyse, design, and refine solutions for product use cases including assessing technical feasibility of automation requests and performing basic technical troubleshooting for stakeholders.
- Create workflow automations, dashboards, or scripts using low-code/no-code platforms.
- Perform data analysis on current innovation initiatives to evaluate their adoption rates, effectiveness, and impact by compiling and cleaning datasets and identifying usage patterns or gaps to inform decision-making.
- Drive engagement initiatives that boost staff effectiveness through productivity tools by researching and evaluating new tech tools and designing collaterals and engagement strategies to encourage adoption.
- Assist in running and planning an intrapreneurship programme where tech and non-tech staff co-create digital prototypes to address pain points.
