What you will be working on
The Data Science Accelerator Department (DSA) drives the pervasive use of data across CPF Board to aid policy and operational decision making by providing a consolidated view of good quality data, effective governance, strong data science capabilities and modern data infrastructure and tools.
In this role, you will:
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand challenges and designing data-driven and business-centric solutions.
- Assist in data collection, preparation, processing, and exploration tasks.
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance and/or enhancement of machine learning/AI models/Gen AI/automation solutions.
- Design end-to-end automation workflows e.g. MLOps.
- Conduct research on latest data science and AI trends.
- Present findings and insights through data visualisations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Explore and experiment with vibe coding to assess their impact on development productivity, code quality, and integration to existing workflow.
- Provide support for data-related activities.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
- Familiar with analytics tools such as Python/R and BI tools such as PowerBI.
- Good understanding with demonstrable project experience in data science, machine learning and large language models.
- Openness to investigate and experiment existing vibe coding tools available in the market.
- Meticulous, analytical, and resourceful.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from June 2026 to December 2026.
