What you will be working on
The Business Incubator and Accelerator Department propels the development of new product ideas and business models by small competent cross-functional teams. We drive CPFB's innovation framework, including supporting the idea-to-solution journey, enhancing knowledge diffusion and evangelising technology adoption. This includes cultivating a culture of curiosity and proactive involvement among staff through a range of initiatives centred on innovation.
As a GenAI Engineer Intern, you will work closely with product managers, business users, and IT teams to develop and implement solutions that address real business needs.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with business units to shape and refine GenAI use case definitions.
- Design and build agentic AI workflows using modern agent orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangGraph or N8N).
- Experiment with AI app builders to create user interfaces.
- Build prototypes and MVPs to validate use case viability and iterate based on business feedback.
- Collaborate with traditional IT/software engineering teams to integrate AI solutions with existing systems.
- Collaborate with performance team to monitor the performance of agentic AI workflows.
What we are looking for

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python and JavaScript is a plus, though prior experience is not required.
- Interest in learning and experimenting with emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to design and implement solutions that effectively address business needs.
- Able to explain technical ideas in a simple way.
- Proactive mindset, taking initiative to improve features and ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Open to feedback, with the ability to adapt quickly and iterate based on changing requirements or stakeholder input.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from August 2026 to December 2026.
