What you will be working on
Our claims section plays a pivotal role in providing basic financial protection to CPF members via the life insurance schemes - Dependants' Protection Scheme (DPS) and Home Protection Scheme (HPS). As DPS & HPS Claims Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic team and contribute to efforts in helping CPF members to protect against the loss of their flats and to have peace of mind.
In this role, you will:
- Process insurance claims according to established procedures, ensure accuracy and compliance with policy terms. This includes determining adequacy of claim documentation, verifying coverage details, and settling payout with mortgagees whilst maintaining service standards.
- Compile statistical data related to claims processing and other key performance indicators. This includes preparing regular reports and explaining variances to management.
- Draft professional responses to enquiries from CPF members and other stakeholders. This includes explaining policy coverage, claim decisions, and providing clear guidance on submission requirements.
- Leverage advanced technologies, including generative AI and machine learning, to enhance DPS & HPS claim workflows and improve decision-making.
What we are looking for

- Currently pursuing an ITE Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Insurance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from August 2026 to December 2026.
