What you will be working on
The Housing and Investment Schemes Department (HIS) specialises in delivering IT solutions, offering expertise in system design, development, and maintenance of application systems. Our primary focus lies in providing essential services to the Housing Schemes, Home Protection Schemes, and Dependant's Protection Schemes departments.
In this role, you will:
- Carry out Java development work to support various projects within the HIS Department.
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT) activities to ensure the seamless integration of developed solutions.
- Engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the final solutions meet the requirements and expectations of end-users.
- Collaborate with different parties, including users, IT professionals, and vendors, to deliver successful project outcomes.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Has Java programming skills and is eager to learn more.

- Analytical and flexible to changes, with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Fast learner and pays attention to details.
- Able to work under pressure, deliver results and observe deadlines.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from July 2026 to December 2026.
