What you will be working on
The Business Incubator and Accelerator Department (BIA) propels the development of new product ideas and business models by small competent cross-functional teams. We drive CPFB's innovation framework, including supporting the idea-to-solution journey, enhancing knowledge diffusion and evangelising technology adoption. This includes cultivating a culture of curiosity and proactive involvement among staff through a range of initiatives centred on innovation.
In this role, you will:
1) Product Management for In-House Digital Products. Gain hands-on experience in product management and support the delivery of in-house digital products. This includes:
- Prioritising and managing incoming requests from various departments.
- Coordinating product backlogs, feature releases, and stakeholder communications.
- Documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable tasks.
- Tracking progress and ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
- Supporting product marketing and adoption efforts by preparing promotional materials, conducting product demos, and showcasing features to potential users.
- Gathering user feedback from these outreach efforts and translating insights into product enhancements or feature proposals.
- Leveraging technical knowledge to explain product capabilities, limitations, and integration options in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
2) IT Product Technical Analysis & Implementation. Apply technical skills to analyse, design, and refine solutions for product use cases. This includes:
- Assessing technical feasibility of automation requests, such as considering n8n workflow capabilities, possible API integrations, and system constraints.
- Performing basic technical troubleshooting for stakeholders and assisting in bug replication for developers.
- Creating workflow automations, dashboards, or scripts using low-code/no-code platforms.
- Performing data analysis on current innovation initiatives to evaluate their adoption rates, effectiveness, and impact. This includes compiling and cleaning datasets and identifying usage patterns or gaps to inform decision-making, programme improvements, and future innovation strategies.
3) Innovation Programmes Support. Assist in running and planning an intrapreneurship programme where tech and non-tech staff co-create digital prototypes to address pain points.
- Planning and executing key programme milestones (e.g., Appreciation Day, Pitch Day) while liaising with stakeholders.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in innovation and technology, with curiosity and willingness to explore new tools, platforms, and initiatives.
- Technical knowledge is a plus point as it enables you to build workflows for certain use cases, better understand the architecture and capabilities of our digital products, and communicate these effectively to different audiences.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in user research and testing, including designing surveys or feedback mechanisms, analysing user behaviour and adoption patterns, and providing actionable insights to improve digital products.
- Ability to perform data analysis and comfortable working with datasets to evaluate the performance, adoption, and impact of current initiatives. This includes cleaning and organising data, identifying trends or gaps, and presenting findings through clear visualisations or reports to inform decision-making and future strategies.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills to work effectively across teams and departments, building relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing, and able to explain technical ideas in a simple way. You may also have opportunities to lead events, workshops, or discussions if you are comfortable taking on a facilitation role.
- Creative and proactive mindset for content creation, event planning, and productivity initiatives.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from May 2026 - December 2026.
