What you will be working on
The Service Centre Department (SCD) is committed to delivering easy, effective and empathetic (3E) one-stop service to customers through face-to-face and phone, being customer-obsessed and take pride in leading meaningful conversations with customers and their future.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute your tech skills to one of our many products and initiatives that aim to make CPF Board and whole of government work better.
- Explore the relatively new field of GenAI and how it can be applied, both in our products and to improve the way we work.
- Work in a cross disciplinary team with UIUX designers and Product Managers.
- Gain hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
What are we looking for
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Has some experience in building applications.
- Prior experience with Python and JavaScript is useful but not necessary.
- Cloud experience would be useful but not necessary.
- Interested in developing problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Hunger to learn and explore new technologies.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from May 2026 to December 2026.
