What You Will Be Working On
The Enterprise Technology & Architecture Department (EAD) provides strategic technology direction by setting enterprise architecture standards, driving governance, and supporting key enterprise on-premise/cloud applications in CPFB. These applications enable the delivery of digital services to CPF members and support important business operations within the organisation.
As an intern in EAD, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting enterprise technology platforms that power CPFB's digital services. You will work alongside experienced teams and gain real-time IT experience.
In this role, you will:
- Develop applications and technical solutions that address real-world challenges faced by CPF members and internal users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy scalable enterprise solutions.
- Explore the use of Generative AI to automate tasks, improve processes, and support innovation within an enterprise environment.
- Gain exposure to enterprise-level software development practices, architecture standards, governance processes, and development tools.
- Contribute ideas, learn from experienced professionals, and support the delivery of impactful digital solutions.
What We Are Looking For
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Some hands-on experience or coursework in API development.
- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or Spring Batch.
- Basic experience with Python programming.
- Exposure to frontend UI frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries.
- Basic understanding of, or strong interest in, Generative AI and prompt engineering.
- Exposure to agile development methodologies would be an advantage.
- Enthusiasm for learning software development practices, application design, and enterprise technology delivery.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to June 2026.
