What you will be working on
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Group (CIG) ensures the security and resiliency of critical ICT infrastructure while monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats to CPFB around the clock. The Data Protection Department, a department within CIG, is responsible for driving infrastructure and data management operations to support our future-ready systems.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define internal use cases for optimising products and automating IT operations.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to develop comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge resources that bridge technical complexity with operational clarity.
- Provide operational support for mission-critical cloud infrastructure and security platforms, gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and platform maintenance within a fast-paced environment.
- Design and implement monitoring solutions and security controls for cloud environments, with opportunities to present findings to senior leadership.

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with scripting, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and query languages such as Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Elastic Query, Kusto, or SQL.
- Has exposure to cloud platforms, cloud operations, and automation tools such as Azure, AWS, monitoring, automation, or infrastructure support.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing, and is able to explain technical ideas in a simple way.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
- Keen to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2027 to June 2027.
