What you will be working on
The Capability and Organisation Development (COD) team partners leaders in CPFB to nurture and maintain CPFB's organisational health and effectiveness to meet current and future demands and challenges. We provide advisory and support to Senior Management to build a workforce that is engaged and competent — equipped for the work today and future-ready — with effective leaders that build high-performing teams and a learning culture for organisation effectiveness and sustainability. We do so by leading efforts to assess the state of organisation and workforce effectiveness, exploring the latest research and technology enablers, and planning, developing and implementing strategies and interventions in the areas of Organisation Development, Culture Building, Internal Communication, Leadership Development, and Learning and Development.
As an Employee Engagement Intern, you will work with the employee engagement team to support the planning, communications, and creative content for the CPF Summit — a key large-scale internal event where CPFB staff come together to hear from Core Management on the Board's directions and priorities.
In this role, you will:
- Support the planning and coordination of the CPF Summit, including timelines, logistics, and event requirements.
- Liaise with the venue and vendors on setup, audiovisual needs, catering, and other event arrangements.
- Help create staff communications such as announcements, administrative notes, reminders, and post-event updates.
- Assist with design, presentation materials, event collaterals, and video production work.
- Work with internal stakeholders to track deliverables, follow up on action items, and support smooth event execution.
- Provide on-site support during the event and assist with post-event feedback and documentation.
- Support other employee engagement and internal communications initiatives as needed.
What are we looking for
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Has basic design skills and is familiar with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or other visual platforms.
- Has interest or experience in video production, including filming, editing, or content creation.
- Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing, and is able to write clearly for staff communications.
- Interested in employee engagement, internal communications, culture building, or event management.
- Keeps work organised and is comfortable coordinating timelines, tasks, and details.
- Pays attention to detail and is comfortable working with different people.
- Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2027 to May 2027.
