What you will be working on
The AI Enablement Office enables the responsible adoption of AI to transform CPFB's technology and business, so that the workforce is empowered to create more value for members. We steward the CPFB AI Strategy by building central solutions, platforms, and capabilities that make it easy for officers to create value with AI, while strengthening organisation-wide AI readiness through capability development, governance, and scaled adoption. This includes taking a deliberate and coordinated approach to AI adoption, transforming member experience, the way we work, and the workforce with AI.
As a GenAI Engineering Intern, you will work closely with AI Product Managers, business users, and IT teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that address real business needs.
In this role, you will:
- Research, experiment with, and evaluate agent workspaces, agentic coding tools, application deployment platforms, workflow builders, and other emerging AI technologies for use in AI solutions.
- Partner with business users and IT teams to understand business challenges, refine use case definitions, and design solutions using available AI tools and platforms.
- Build prototypes to validate solution viability and iterate based on user feedback.
- Collaborate with the AI Performance Team to evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with AI Product Managers to provide feedback and insights that enhance AI products and capabilities, helping them better serve business use cases.
- Develop content and conduct or support workshops, sharing sessions, and hands-on enablement activities to help officers understand and adopt AI tools effectively.
- Support other initiatives and responsibilities as assigned by the team.
What we are looking for

- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in learning and experimenting with emerging AI technologies, tools, platforms, and frameworks.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into practical solutions.
- A strong team player who collaborates effectively with business users, engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- Interest in sharing knowledge and helping others learn, with the ability to explain concepts and technologies in a clear and engaging manner.
- A self-driven, adaptable attitude, with a willingness to take initiative, learn quickly, and continuously improve based on user needs and new insights.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus, though prior experience is not required.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2027 to May 2027.
