What you will be working on
In this role, you will:
- Oversee data centre facilities operation to ensure resilience and support CPF Board’s business continuity objectives.
- Work closely with server owners and system operators, providing technical guidance on mechanical and electrical requirements, server onboarding/offboarding, and monitoring of systems.
- Study, plan and execute enhancement projects on cyclical replacement of the mechanical and electrical systems.
- Maintain governance of data centre operations processes, including comprehensive SOPs management.
- Drive digitalisation initiatives by leveraging AI and digital tools to transform and enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive environmental sustainability efforts and stay current with market best practices to future-proof the data centre.

- Relevant experience in data centre facilities operations and management.
- Have experience in mechanical systems such as precision air-conditioning, fire protection, and Data Centre Infrastructure Management Systems, as well as power supply systems including Uninterruptible Power Supply, generators, and electrical distribution systems.
- Have experience in identifying, assessing and managing risk through comprehensive system understanding.
- Have experience in preparing comprehensive SOPs and implementing governance processes within data centre operations.
- Have experience in stakeholder management with proven ability to work with vendors and stakeholders in delivering data centre outcomes.
- Experience with the use of AI and digital tools is an added advantage.
- Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
- Works independently and manages priorities effectively.
- Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
