What you will be working on
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and design excellence.
- Establish, maintain and govern design standards, frameworks and practices to promote consistency across CPF Board’s digital products and services.
- Drive design outcomes across the end-to-end process, from discovery and concept development to delivery and optimisation.
- Provide design direction, coaching and constructive feedback to strengthen design craft and team capability.
- Partner with product, engineering, business and operations stakeholders to align design solutions with organisational priorities and user needs.
- Champion human-centred design practices and represent user needs in strategic and operational decision-making.
- Review design outputs for alignment with accessibility, usability and service quality standards.
- Contribute to design strategy, capability building and the continued development of the design practice within Digital Services Division.

- Relevant experience in leading multidisciplinary design teams and delivering user-centred digital products and services.
- Demonstrated application of design craft across interaction design, visual design, service design or related design disciplines.
- Ability to establish and govern design standards, guidelines and processes that support quality and consistency at scale.
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop designers while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment, influence decisions and navigate diverse perspectives.
- Knowledge of human-centred design methodologies, accessibility principles and design systems.
- Communicates clearly and articulates design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptable and resourceful in managing competing priorities while maintaining focus on user and organisational outcomes.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
