What you will be working on

In this role, you will:

  • Drive and coordinate the implementation of SFRS 117 Insurance Contracts, orchestrating collaboration between multiple stakeholders including Ministries, actuaries, system vendors, auditors, and internal departments.
  • Shape and influence policy positions through effective stakeholder engagement, building consensus across diverse teams whilst ensuring robust implementation approaches.
  • Lead the procurement strategy and evaluation for SFRS 117 system implementation partners, ensuring selection of best-fit solutions.
  • Partner with senior consultants in developing and refining business requirements and specifications for the SFRS 117 solution implementation.
  • Direct, oversee and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the solution meets all functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead the transition and change management strategy, focusing on stakeholder readiness and organisational capability building.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What are we looking for

  • Relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial management, preferably with exposure to insurance operations and regulatory frameworks.
  • Have experience in insurance operations and system architectures, with understanding of complex financial systems implementation.
  • Knowledge of SFRS 117 Insurance Contracts and related accounting standards.
  • Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different organisational levels.
  • Have experience in analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and presenting to senior leadership teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous.
  • Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
  • Works independently and manages priorities effectively.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board
