What you will be working on
In this role, you will:
- Drive and coordinate the implementation of SFRS 117 Insurance Contracts, orchestrating collaboration between multiple stakeholders including Ministries, actuaries, system vendors, auditors, and internal departments.
- Shape and influence policy positions through effective stakeholder engagement, building consensus across diverse teams whilst ensuring robust implementation approaches.
- Lead the procurement strategy and evaluation for SFRS 117 system implementation partners, ensuring selection of best-fit solutions.
- Partner with senior consultants in developing and refining business requirements and specifications for the SFRS 117 solution implementation.
- Direct, oversee and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the solution meets all functional and technical specifications.
- Lead the transition and change management strategy, focusing on stakeholder readiness and organisational capability building.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial management, preferably with exposure to insurance operations and regulatory frameworks.
- Have experience in insurance operations and system architectures, with understanding of complex financial systems implementation.
- Knowledge of SFRS 117 Insurance Contracts and related accounting standards.
- Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different organisational levels.
- Have experience in analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and presenting to senior leadership teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and analysis.
- Experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous.
- Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
- Works independently and manages priorities effectively.
- Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board
