What you will be working on
As member in the Healthcare Insurance Department, you will play a key role in the administration and continuous improvement of healthcare insurance schemes including MediShield Life, CareShield Life and ElderShield, ensuring smooth delivery of healthcare benefits and services to stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
• Provide operational support to Senior Manager/Manager on the end-to-end operations of premium subsidies, support schemes, grants, and benefits under healthcare insurance schemes.
• Support the implementation of projects and system enhancements, including user acceptance testing and coordination with internal IT teams and external government agencies.
• Review and update existing processes and Standard Operating Procedures, harnessing AI and automation technologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort where possible.
• Correspond with members and external agencies on healthcare insurance-related enquiries and requests.
• Provide general administrative support including department-level records and access management, statistics collation, and finance duties such as budget tracking and general ledger reconciliation.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support departmental objectives.

Relevant experience in operations management, administration operations or project management.

Have experience in analytical work, process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Have experience in budget management, financial reconciliation will be a plus.

Familiarity with automation and data analytics tools such as Python, UiPath, Power BI and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.

Knowledge of healthcare insurance schemes, government processes or regulatory frameworks would be beneficial.

Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.

Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
