What you will be working on
As a member of the Home Protection and Education Department, you will play a crucial role in administering the Home Protection Scheme (HPS), ensuring members receive comprehensive support for their housing protection needs whilst maintaining operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
• Process HPS application forms from members applying for covers, exemption, premium top-ups and related services, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Liaise with service partners including HDB, private insurers and mortgagees to facilitate seamless service delivery and resolve operational matters.
• Provide operational support to management team through preparing and collating statistics, conducting system UAT and performing accounts reconciliation activities.
• Deliver general administrative support including correspondence management and telephone duties to ensure efficient departmental operations.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned to support departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Relevant experience in insurance administration, scheme processing, or customer service operations, preferably within financial services or government agencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with experience in process improvements using Macros or RPA applications.
• Knowledge of insurance products, housing schemes, or financial services operations would be advantageous.
• Have experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle member enquiries professionally and empathetically.
• Show initiative and maintain a positive attitude when approaching challenges and opportunities.
• Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
• Works independently and manages priorities effectively.
• Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
