What will you be working on

As an Investment Compliance and Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to investment compliance and risk management.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform pre-trade compliance checks for internally managed portfolios
  • Perform post trade compliance monitoring and risk reporting for all investment portfolios, including liaising with investment managers and custodian 
  • Prepare, analyse and monitor investment risk and exposure reports for presentation to Management and Investment Committee
  • Implement the quarterly Personal Trading Declaration exercise with checks on staff personal trading
  • Carry out custodian transition, implementation of new investment guidelines, and any other ad-hoc process reviews and compliance projects as assigned​

What are we looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.

  • Relevant work experience, preferably in the field of investment compliance and risk, audit in investment firms and/or managing investment managers and custodian banks
  • Possess knowledge of investment instruments and investment compliance industry practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel - VBA, Power Query)
  • Prior experience in automation projects and knowledge in Python or UiPath is a plus
  • Possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and project management skills
  • Independent, resilient and possess a positive working attitude


The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
