What you will be working on
As a Pega Developer in the Retirement Decumulation Systems Department (RDD), you will design, develop, and maintain Pega-based application systems that support retirement withdrawal services for CPF members. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions that enable members to decumulate effectively during their retirement years.
In this role, you will:
- Gather, analyse business requirements and translate them into high level use cases.
- Prepare workflow, develop technical specifications and conduct feasibilities studies.
- Prepare project plans and documentation according to standards and guidelines.
- Perform coding and provide systems support, SIT, UAT and participates in all software development life cycle.
- Provide user support through troubleshooting and timely resolution to address any incidents encountered.
- Work closely with different stakeholders to ensure project success.

Relevant IT working experience in Agile and SDLC methodologies, covering end-to-end system delivery from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.

Relevant experience in Pega Version 7 or higher, including application development, case management, workflow configuration, and rule design.
- Experience in designing solutions using Pega framework and or supporting various Pega components.
- Working experience in Java, J2EE, relational database (DB2/Oracle).
- Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies and best practises.
- Strong collaboration, prioritization and adaptability skills.
- Comfortable in building new application and maintaining existing systems.
- Foster knowledge sharing among team members.
- Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
- Flexible in assignment and willingness to learn new skills.
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification will be advantageous.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on 1-year full time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with potential for emplacement into permanent position.
