What will you be working on
As a member of the media relations team, you will specialise in managing media relations, crisis communications, cultivating internal community engagement, driving podcast initiatives, and overseeing annual reporting as integral components of our communication strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement media strategies to raise public awareness and appreciation for CPF schemes and policies through both traditional and digital media platforms.
- Manage day-to-day media inquiries and requests, and craft various written materials such as press releases, Q&A documents, media briefs to promote positive resonance with the CPF system.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts to identify opportunities to actively pitch CPF stories to shape positive perceptions for media coverage.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage and public sentiment to identify potential public relations issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop audio content that resonate with the public via CPF Board’s podcast channels.
- Provide support and contribute to crisis communications efforts in a timely manner.

- Sensitivity to sentiments, political dynamics, and cultural nuances.
- Strong presentation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
