What you will be working on
As a Project Specialist in Insurance Funds Management, Policy Review & Governance within the Healthcare Planning Department, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating strategies for the administration of healthcare financing schemes and driving cross-cutting developmental initiatives to ensure Singaporeans have access to effective healthcare coverage.
In this role, you will:
- Measure and track performance of healthcare insurance funds and formulate suitable interventions to address areas of concern, working closely with actuarial consultants and internal actuarial colleagues as necessary.
- Support policy reviews to make healthcare schemes effective and relevant for members' evolving needs.
- Devise, review and execute operational strategies to improve the administration of healthcare schemes and enhance service delivery.
- Apply data analytics to analyse members' behaviour for healthcare schemes, uncover insights and propose solutions to meet business objectives.
- Oversee the management of Healthcare Financing governance and other cross-cutting matters to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Provide secretariat support for relevant committees and facilitate effective decision-making processes.

- Knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance principles, and regulatory frameworks within the healthcare sector.

- Experience in policy development, review processes, and operational strategy formulation.
- Have experience in analytical work with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team, demonstrating experience in interpersonal and organisational skills.

- Able to manage both internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
- Familiar working with data to develop insights and inform interventions.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
