What you will be working on

You will be part of a team responsible for the effective administration and continuous improvement of the Withdrawal Schemes. This role offers a balance of operational oversight, process transformation, and project work, and is suited for someone who is analytical, process-driven, and comfortable working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and administer the day-to-day operations of the Withdrawal Schemes, ensuring withdrawal applications and member queries are handled efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with the Board's service standards.
  • Manage a portfolio of disbursement cases, including higher-risk and long-tail unpaid cases, through regularly updated risk-managed approaches.
  • Possibly supervise and guide a team of officers, providing direction and support to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and systems to identify gaps and implement improvements.
  • Strengthen and transform existing processes to mitigate operational risks while ensuring robustness and compliance.
  • Design processes that can support future capacity growth without substantial increase in resources.
  • Lead and contribute to system enhancement projects based on evolving business needs.
  • Carry out data analysis across multiple schemes and collaborate with external agencies to support project outcomes.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as assigned.

What we are looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.

  • Relevant experience in service operations, withdrawal administration, or account management.
  • Experience in process improvement, with the ability to translate business requirements into operational or system solutions.
  • Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret findings and translate them into actionable improvements.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and compliance practices in an operational setting.
  • Prior experience in supervising a team would be an added advantage.
  • Communicates effectively, both in writing and speaking.
  • Works independently and manages priorities effectively.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in handling different tasks and challenges.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

We welcome fresh graduates in any discipline and candidates without working experience to apply. To help us better understand your academic background, please provide an official or unofficial copy of your academic transcript, as well as any other relevant documents or certificates that you believe would support your application.

This position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board, with an option to renew contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. There is also potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
