What you will be working on
As a Lead Consultant (Quality Engineering), you will play a key role in advancing Software Quality Management (SQM) practices and enterprise quality engineering capabilities to improve software quality, testing effectiveness and engineering productivity across the organisation.
You will drive the implementation and continuous enhancement of enterprise quality engineering platforms, tools and practices that enable application development and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to deliver high-quality IT products. Working closely with application, platform and infrastructure teams, you will understand end-to-end application architecture and software delivery processes to design and integrate quality engineering solutions that support modern software delivery practices across a complex enterprise IT landscape.
You will also evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices, translating these into practical enterprise solutions and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen enterprise quality engineering capability, improve software quality and enhance application delivery effectiveness.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain, support and enhance enterprise quality engineering platforms and tooling used across application delivery, including integration with CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, continuous testing.
- Identify, evaluate and recommend enterprise quality engineering platforms, tools, technologies and processes, including AI-assisted testing capabilities, to improve quality delivery at an enterprise level.
- Drive the implementation, rollout and adoption of enterprise quality engineering platforms, tooling and practices across delivery teams.
- Collaborate with application, platform and infrastructure teams to design, implement and integrate quality engineering solutions within enterprise environments, such as web test automation, test data generation and management, and AI-assisted testing solutions.
- Review existing quality delivery approaches, define and monitor quality metrics, and identify gaps and opportunities to improve software quality and delivery effectiveness.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends and industry best practices in Software Quality Management (SQM), quality engineering and software testing, and translate these into practical recommendations and enterprise implementations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to uplift enterprise quality engineering maturity and quality outcomes across the organisation.
